Happy 11 Months Julia and Mike!

Listening To: Screaming Infidelities (LIVE in Germany 2004) by Dashboard Confessional

I'm waiting for Alex to come so we could hang out today. Yesterday, Alex and I had a really, really, really great time. He picked me up and he met my Dad, which was much better than I expected. Anyway, we both arrived at the North Shore Sports Arena so he could teach ice skating. So I get out of the car and what do ya know, there is this paparatzi camera guy on the sidewalk. Alex told me to not go near him and Alex covered his face with a couple of sheets of paper. I smiled at him, 'cause I had to. It was just this huge urge.

He laced up his ice skates and I was just watching him teaching all these kids how to ice skate. By the way, Alex is this pretty famous international figure skater, hopefully arriving to the Olympics in two years. That is why that paparatzi guy was outside.

I got a call fom my dad and he said to me "Did you tell all your friends in High School that you were GAY?!" His voice was tipped with agrivation. I answered yes and he grunts "Well guess what: Meagan found out by sombody in school and she told your step-mom, Hannah! Now you can't personally and officialy tell your family cause they already know now from sombody els-" he paused and said "I get it now. I'll call you later. Bye."

He finally got it. I did all of that on purpose because I didn't want to "personally and officialy" tell my step-family about my sexuality. So I told people in school about me and they told Meagan (who is my step-sis that's two months younger than me and in the same grade) and then Meagan told my step-mother, Hannah. Everything went according to my plan and my Father finally got it. It's too tough for me to officially sit somone down, look into their eyes and say those three words that will change the whole way they think about me. I am gay. Think about the reaction that would appear on their faces when I break the news. I couldn't do it, so I had other people do it for me, not knowing they they are are helping me with this.

Okay, back to the Ice Rink. After he finished teaching, I met his ice skating coach, Jessica. So, we all went to the mall and ate some really disgusting sandwich and I got to talking to Jessica and realized that she is such a fucking awsome and cool person.

But, anywhoo, at night we got to the Revere Beach and ate at Kelly's Roast Beef. It was so much fun 'cause we were walking on the beach and it was...I guess...romantic. First romantic moment with my first boyfriend, pretty fun.

I eventually got home at 11:35 (5 minutes late. Alex and I got...lost) and I woke up today at 9:00 to get ready to start my first day at my new job: Mud Puddle Toy Shop. Ha, it sounds really straight to be working at a toy shop. But actually, it's a lot of fun. I learned a lot today and I am in SUCH a good mood.

I think one reason I am so happy right now is Alex. And the fact that my father is being so nice today to me. And the fact that it is sunny out.

Wow.

I haven't felt this happy in...a very, very long time...
